Project Management

Project Management is the process of a series of activities for executing a project. The various activities include initiating, planning, executing, controlling, testing, maintaining and closing the project. The main goal of project management is to execute the project goals within the stipulated time allotted.
Project management software is used for monitoring the project. This software is used for planning of project, scheduling and resource allocation. It can also be used by the project managers to control the costs and manage the budget of the project. Few of the project management tools are Critical Path Method (CPM), Project Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT), Gantt Chart, Work break down structure and so on.
